Trachycarpus Wagnerianus (Bonsai palm, Waggie, Dwarf Chusan palm) this rare palm is related to the Windmill palm but it is distinct from it in that the leaves are much stiffer, shorter and in most peoples opinion, it is a more attractive plant. These are difficult to grow when they are in seedling form and germination rates can be lower. They grow slower when they are young and for these reasons, they command a higher price. Bonsai palms have an unknown origin and have not been found outside of cultivation. Below are some pictures of some of the Banzai palms we have or have had.
